Professional learning podcasts now available
To complement and extend teachers’ professional learning, Federation’s Centre for Professional Learning has launched the JPL Podcast. Containing interviews with researchers and experienced practitioners, the JPL Podcast is a significant addition to the JPL and continues the mission of the CPL. Episodes are available at cpl.nswtf.org.au/podcasts/ and topics include classroom management, teaching mathematics and promotions positions, with new episodes and topics to be added regularly.
Podcasts are a popular and free medium to provide access to high quality professional learning audio content for members. Wherever you are and whatever your interests, you can listen to professional conversations about teaching and NSW public education. Episodes are designed to be easy, enjoyable and useful, and most episodes are between 15-30 minutes in length.
Listening to JPL podcasts and reading JPL articles can contribute to meeting teacher identified hours for Maintenance of Accreditation with NESA as well as professional learning goals through the Department’s Performance and Development Framework.
