The conference theme for 2013 is “Safe, successful and sustainable education. Is the law a sword or a shield?”
ANZELA brings together academics, legal practitioners, educators and others who have an association with or interest in education law and legal issues affecting education. Its members include school principals, teachers and administrators from the public and private sectors; government and private lawyers; union officials; and university lecturers in law and education.
The grants, each valued up to $2200, are available to NSW legal studies teachers, executive staff and other teachers with a demonstrated interest in education law in NSW schools. The grants are for people whose attendance will not be funded by their school.
